You Don’t Have To Make All The Changes At One Time!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

This is the time of year the gym owners love and regular gym goers despise! 🙂 Everyone has made their NY resolution and its time to hit the gym right? I can only imagine that this year, the look at the gym will be very unique from years past.

One thing I started talking to clients about years ago is making those resolutions attainable. It wasn’t uncommon to hear people who have very poor diets and never get to the gym make the resolution to workout every day and have the perfect diet. While this all sounds wonderful, having these goals out of the gate set most up to be finished by February. When we start talking about attainable goals, i.e. working out 2-3 times a week, and making better food choices for breakfast, you realize you will see improvement without feeling like you will never be able to keep that up. Simple lifestyle changes can make a world of difference in our health! And making changes that last a lifetime is what it’s all about! Yes, make that long term goal of exercising every day, but to start, what can you do, reasonably, in the next 30 days to make it part of your life?
