Diabetes? Add These Veggies To Your Meals!

While have a diagnosis of diabetes can offer challenges, there are many things with the diet that will help! Food choices always make a difference.

I had a client who was a retired heart surgeon and he told me that everyone should follow a diabetic diet. Some may have to be more restrictive than others but the main parts of that diet are extremely healthy. And, of course, whole foods are a must!

Add these to your next meals:

  1. Chard
  2. Artichoke
  3. Eggplant
  4. Broccoli
  5. Couliflower
  6. Onions
  7. Brussel Sprout
  8. Mustard greens

Always be aware of how much you cook these vegetables to keep all the nutrition.
