Metabolism refers to the amount of calories you burn. Some have a “slow” metabolism and some have “fast”. However, you can change that by exercise and what you eat. Yes, there are lucky people who have a naturally fast metabolism. For most, that metabolism is directly related to how much exercise they do and what they eat.
Most of what we can to do boost the metabolism is fairly simple. From drinking more water (although not overdoing it) to getting the right amount of sleep, these activities help for many issues. Did you know that eating spicy food can help as well? While exercise is important, getting that high intensity workout weekly is essential. The key here is to incorporate one thing at a time, make it a habit, then move on to add another.
