It seems FDA approval makes something safe and healthy so I’m DEMANDING FDA approval of healthy lifestyles!
When you go to the National Institute on Aging (NIH) there are 4 links to what we can do to be healthier.
-Diet may affect risk of sudden cardiac death.
-Consuming a diet with more fish fats, less vegetable oils can reduce migraine headaches.
-Combination of healthy lifestyle traits may substantially reduce Alzheimer’s disease risk.
-Repurposed drug helps obese mice lose weight, improve metabolic function.
They actually go into each study to explain what they used and what the outcome was. Now, before you say anything, I completely understand the problem with the fourth topic above. When a drug comes out, there is absolutely no way to use it for any other disease other than the initial usage! That we know! Even so, there are many other options that utilize diet and exercise as a way to reduce risk of many, many diseases!
In addition to this, there are countless studies on whole food and how having a diet rich in fruits and vegetables will have a positive impact on your overall health. This is prevention, as opposed to simply waiting to get sick and being treated for a specific illness, which is what our “health care” is today.
When I say we can’t wait for this approval, I mean it will never happen as there simply isn’t enough money to keep people healthy. And we can’t wait as “sick care” will become more expensive as health declines. Simple as that.
