Comfort foods are just that, food that we eat when we are feeling down and need some comforting. I think of pizza or a burger. When you have health issues, such as diabetes, you may think you have to give these up completely. Yes, you may need to make some substitutions when making, but you can still enjoy them to a certain degree. Can you still have Mac and cheese, tacos or spaghetti and meatballs? You can as long as you take a few steps. Yes, it will be a bit different but you health is worth it!!
