Sore Muscles and Exercise

It can be a vicious cycle when you exercise and have some soreness the next day, do you have another workout. Is it safe to exercise when sore?
There are different levels of soreness so the simple rule of thumb is if you are extremely sore it is probably best to skip the workout and give your body a little more rest. Leg day is a big one for some. If you have a hard time walking the next day, your body is telling you that you need to lay off anything that has to do with leg exercises. It can be easy to over-do it and when you can’t perform day to day activities, you probably did too much. Being sore is okay but not being able to walk is not so good.
