The health benefits of cucumbers are amazing and they are something you can add to salads and sandwiches to give a little crunch as well as nutrition. Some of the goodness we get from these are to protect your brain, reduce the risk of cancer, fight inflammation, antioxidant properties, manage stress (B vitamins), support digestive health, manage a healthy weight and support heart health.
I love these sliced with some onion and vinegar and possibly tomato if they are nice and ripe. You talk about a power packed snack!
