I’ve heard time and again, “I don’t have any abs”. When someone says that to me I have to explain, yes you do or you wouldn’t be upright at this moment. We all have abdominal muscles, just like we have biceps, pecs, lats and all those other good muscle groups. Some spend more time developing their abs but the biggest thing is burning the layer of fat off from on top of them. We absolutely need to strength the abdominal area for our posture and some of the best ways to do it are not necessarily crunches. I do like ab work on a stability ball, but doing planks and using a TRX or Lebert Equalizer, for example, will make them a lot stronger and more functional as they will be worked more completely!
