Eggs are a staple in my diet. I always have a bowl of hard boiled eggs in the refrigerator for an easy, on the go snack that is packed with protein. We typically think of eggs as a good source of protein and being good for building muscle. There are many other benefits that they offer too.
The vitamins and minerals found in eggs help for regular functioning of cells to keep the brain healthy. These vitamins are also key for keeping the immune system working properly.
Heart disease is of great concern too, and eggs can help lower your risk! Moms to be will want to eat eggs during pregnancy for healthy baby development. Weight loss and management, healthy eyesight and overall healthy appearance round out more of the great things we get from eggs!
For a while eggs took a beating as having cholesterol and causing levels in humans to increase. Like so many other things this has been proven incorrect as the health benefits are so great!
So go ahead and scramble up some eggs, see how your energy levels increase and you will start to feel healthier!
